Litchfield Park Real Estate Information

The Maricopa County city of Litchfield Park is a small place of about 7,000 residents. Recognized as one of the best places to live in Arizona by Phoenix Magazine, Litchfield Park is just fifteen miles west of the city of Phoenix and is one of the most desirable places to raise young families. Not too far from Phoenix, Litchfield Park is close enough to larger cities that working men and women can easily and quickly reach work from their homes.

Litchfield Park’s Arts in the Park Live Concert Series is one of the most highly anticipated community-wide events hosted in the city. Every week, the series features a new live artist who performs songs that are family friendly. On popular nights, the park grasses are covered quite early by people looking to have a picnic meal and enjoy the evening under the stars with spectacular music and interesting company.

Another popular gathering is the annual Native American Art Festival. The event highlights over two hundred Native American artists that engage in traditional and modern jewelry, clay work, basketry, weaving, linens, painting, and beadwork. The event also includes several popular cultural dances and musical performances. The Kiwanis Litchfield Park Winter Trout Fishing Derby is another well-attended event as is the Litchfield Park 10k, 5k, & 1 Mile Fun Run & Celebration of Life Walk fundraiser. Many people eagerly anticipate the Annual Litchfield Park Art & Culinary Festival for its spectacular wine and beer tastings as well as live music and noted chef demonstrations.

The Litchfield Park Recreation Center organizes a bunch of on-site and off-site recreational programming for local residents of all ages. The facility itself consists of a heated swimming pool, a spa, baby pool, weight room, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Several youth leagues and senior citizen classes are often provided year-round. Some of the more popular activities include swim lessons, aquatic training, tennis lessons, water aerobics, water polo, lifeguard training, flag football, youth soccer, ice skating, and adult coed soccer.
